Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with their online ordering and curbside pickup to give future shoppers a realistic perspective. I placed an order the evening prior based on the website's listed inventory, but upon arrival, only half of my items were available. Although I selected curbside pickup for convenience, staff asked me to come inside to retrieve the items, and I had to proactively request a refund for the unfulfilled products rather than having it handled automatically. Between a clunky web interface and the fulfillment issues, the promised convenience fell short; moving forward, I would rather take my business to a local mom-and-pop nursery where the customer experience is reliable than gamble on an online process that doesn't deliver.

I went to THREE big-box stores trying to find the right stakes for my plant, and then I found Flowerland — and I was honestly blown away! If you’re into plants, gardening, birds, or garden décor, this place has everything, with so many options to choose from. I’m just getting back into gardening and had a LOT of questions, and every person I talked to was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. One employee even showed me a soil-saver tool for my container that meant I didn’t have to buy bags and bags of potting soil. That kind of helpful advice is exactly what you don’t get at the big-box stores! The prices were very reasonable, and every plant I saw was healthy and beautifully cared for. I also found an amazing planter for only $15, which felt like a steal. I’m so glad I stopped in. Flowerland has definitely become my new go-to for gardening, and I’ll absolutely be back!

Nice store with a vast array of products focusing on outdoors and plants. Indoor and outdoor plants along with anything you may need to plant them. They have bird seed and bird feeders, planters, pots, and garden supplies. They change things inside for the seasons. In the winter they have a ton of Christmas trees and decor. In the summer, there is patio furniture and decorations. Great place to find unique gifts. Friendly employees always willing to help.

We bought a very beautiful lupine. We followed the instructions but it loss all its blooms and the leaves wilted. I went to flowerland two weeks after buying the plant and talked to a guy who gave me tips on trying to salvage it. He told me to put it in the sun and don’t overwater it. If that doesn’t work then bring it back to the store for a return. I tried my best for another week but it continued to wilt. Took it back within the return window. This time I got an older lady who was extremely rude and judgmental. She asked me what I did to it and told me it wasn’t dead. She reluctantly approved the return. The younger cashier gal was very nice. I don’t plan on returning.
